Jane's attic, update VI: working on the walls.

Today I've also been working on a couple of walls here, and, like the panelling, I think they turned out pretty nice.

The walls with the green wallpaper have another (yellow ocker) wallpaper underneath, covering the entire surface of the walls. I've done that to enable me to pull out pieces of it at places, allowing the wallpaper underneath to shine through. So, even when only a small portion of the wallpaper underneath is seen, I still know it's there...

Jane's attic, update II: started working on the wallpaper.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share that the walls of the attic have been covered with wallpaper. AND I've been playing a little more with Jane!

Of course the walls still need to be fixed in place, and trimmings and weathering need to be added, but this is an important milestone in the whole construction process!

Note that the wallpaper in the room with the staircase next to the attic is only the first layer. The idea is to put another layer on top of it, which will then be partially peeled off to show the underlying one...
