The golden rays of the autumn sun invaded the old house like a search light, revealing the objects that hid in the dark, making them look like secret lovers in a park, surprised in their exchange of illicit kisses.
It was the time of the day when the little stone birds on the antique cabinet seemed to come alive, filling for a brief moment the silent room with their merry chirping.
Then the light moved on, and they fell silent, turning back to stone, waiting for the return of the sun's golden beams to awaken them again from their deep slumber.

I really like your use of light and its contrasts of shadows in each of your photos. The little birds are adorable and the ancient hardware on the old cabinet looks Terrific!
